Why should I spend money on a wedding website?
Although you'll spend money on a wedding website, you will undoubtedly save time and money elsewhere in planning your wedding. It's also more convenient for you and your quests!

How long will it take to create my website?
That depends on what you want from your wedding website, it could be a few days or weeks, but definitely not months! We'll talk to you to understand your needs and then agree on realistic timescale's - it might be that you don't want it to go live (your 2 year period) for a few months and that's absolutely fine by us. It's your wedding website after all!

I am interested - where do I start?
Ok, click on the 'Order Form' link and fill in the form to get the ball rolling, we'll review your enquiry and talk to you to understand what you want from your wedding website.

Do I need to pay a deposit and how much?
Until your happy with what we are proposing, you won't pay a penny. We'll then require a 50% deposit to commence your wedding website and then 50% when we're ready to go live.

Can I make changes to the website myself?
Absolutely, you can change the content (text and images) of your wedding website as much as you like through a 'Control Panel' with a text editor that looks a bit like Microsoft Word. You can't change the structure (navigation and layout) or the functionality of your wedding website without our interaction though.

What happens if I change my mind?
That's ok - your under no obligation until you pay your deposit, once you've paid we can't issue refunds I'm afraid, but you can pull the plug and we'll stop work with no hard feelings.

What happens if something goes wrong?
Our Wedding Website is all about personal communication - give us a ring or drop us an e-mail with any questions or problems, we'll resolve them as quickly as possible for you. You won't get put on hold or get an automated response from us!

How long does my wedding website last for?
Your website will last for 2 years from the date of going live. Typically, people order their website around a year before their wedding so that it lasts a year either side of the wedding day. You can ask for this period to be extended - see our Packages page (Extra Hosting) for further information.

How will people see my wedding website?
Your website will be available here on our website at www.ourweddingwebsite.co.uk/nameandname (e.g. janeandjohn) where possible, slight variations may be required from time to time by using your wedding date (e.g. janeandjohn09082010). If you have requested your own personal website address then that will be what you tell your friends and family (e.g. www.janeandjohnswedding.co.uk), but this is subject to availability.
